For those of you wondering how the big Easter bake turned out it was just like we remembered from when we were young. Our Mom and "Dima" lovingly cooked up gorgeous rounds of sweet bread, each with an egg nestled in its center. We were lucky to arrive just as the loaves came out of the oven, their aroma filling the house. We quickly sliced the warm bread, slathered it in butter and devoured several loaves. Sweet bread is good any time, but when it is hot and fresh, there is nothing else like it!
We hope you had a chance to indulge in your own Easter and Passover traditions. We can't share the bread with you (it's all gone!) but you can get your share of our latest biscotti rings and bits, including our new lemon bits, just in time for spring.
